The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low Pro GT in Black/White/Gum (Style: DC7695-004) is a skate shoe that blends classic design with performance-driven updates straight from the mind of Grant Taylor, one of the most powerful all-terrain skateboarders of the modern era. This low-profile shoe pays homage to the legacy of the Blazer line while elevating its functionality for street and transition skating.

Crafted with a durable black suede upper, the shoe delivers a timeless look that holds up under serious wear. The white leather Swoosh pops against the black base, and a retro-style NIKE heel tab reinforces the vintage hoops-meets-skate aesthetic. Beneath it all sits a gum rubber sole, prized in skateboarding for its superior grip and boardfeel.

What sets this model apart is the higher rubber foxing tape, which wraps up farther on the sidewalls than standard Blazers. This feature was added at GT’s request for increased flick durability and a longer lifespan during repeated ollies and flip tricks. The shoe also features a Zoom Air unit in the heel for responsive impact protection, while the vulcanized construction provides a broken-in feel right out of the box.

Inside, you’ll find custom footbed graphics marked with GT’s initials and Nike SB branding, a subtle nod to the collaboration’s rider-forward design ethos.

Grant Taylor hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and is known for his raw speed, fluid style, and unshakable control in any terrain—whether bombing hills, destroying bowls, or charging stair sets. He was Thrasher's Skater of the Year in 2011, and he's continued to stack iconic parts with brands like Alien Workshop, Anti-Hero, and Nike SB. His shoes are built with the same intention as his skating: fast, precise, and gnarly.

Nike SB, founded in 2002, redefined what a skateboarding division could be by collaborating closely with skaters to rethink performance footwear. While the original Blazer launched in 1973 as a basketball shoe, Nike SB’s revamp of the silhouette makes it a go-to for skaters who appreciate heritage and function.
