The Nike SB Shoe P Rod One Zoom Air Low (Bred) brings back Paul’s first SB signature in the crowd-favorite mix of Medium Grey, Black, and Varsity Red. Built for real sessions around the Valley, it’s a faithful remake with a few smart upgrades so you can actually skate it hard—then keep skating it.
Durable suede upper panels wrap high-wear zones, while the perforated Varsity Red Swoosh and PR monogram heel nod to the 2005 original. Underfoot, responsive Zoom Air in the heel smooths out big impacts, and the flexible cupsole keeps flick crisp without feeling bulky. A grippy herringbone outsole (red, of course) and padded tongue/collar round out the all-day, all-terrain feel.
Paul Rodriguez’s debut model mattered then and still does now. Back in ’05, P-Rod asked for a shoe that balanced technical boardfeel with real cushioning for ledges, gaps, and flatground—no compromises. This revival honors that blueprint: couture-inspired PR pattern hits, durable suede where you need it, and that unmistakable “Bred” attitude he handpicked when the shoe first launched.
From a quick warm-up push through the Claremont Village to a longer night line anywhere in L.A., the P Rod One keeps your feet happy and your board control locked. If you’ve been waiting for a proper reissue you can both collect and destroy, this is the one.
