The Wknd Deck Tom Karangelov Not Today WB (8.375) delivers that unmistakable WKND attitude—raw, funny, slightly unhinged in the best way—paired with pro-level construction pressed at BBS in Mexico. The top ply comes dipped in a rich translucent pink stain with visible woodgrain bleeding through, finished clean with a subtle WKND logo hit near the rear bolts. It’s minimal up top, letting the bottom graphic do all the talking.
Flip it over and the deck pops in a loud neon green base with hand-drawn orange “Tom Karangelov” lettering scrawled across the nose. The artwork by Sympathy Dropout features a reclining lion posted up against a wall, casually flipping the bird—equal parts defiant and laid-back. It’s absurd, irreverent and very Tom K. The sketch-style lines and raw coloring give it that zine-quality WKND is known for—something that feels like it came straight out of a notebook rather than a boardroom.
Sized at 8.375WB, this board falls under WKND’s Short Wheelbase (WB) category. According to the size chart, the 8.375WB carries a 14.25" wheelbase with a 31.875" overall length, 6.875" nose and 6.5" tail. That shorter wheelbase tightens up the turning radius and keeps the board feeling quick underfoot—ideal for technical street skating, quick pop and locking into rails. The added width gives more stability on bigger sets and gaps while still maintaining control for flip tricks. It’s a strong middle ground for skaters who want a little more board under them without sacrificing responsiveness.
Tom Karangelov—born in Serbia to a Serbian mother and Macedonian father—moved to the U.S. as a child and grew up in Santa Ana, later identifying closely with the Huntington Beach scene. Known for his creative spot selection, dry humor and technical precision, Tom K built a reputation on making unconventional terrain look effortless. This deck reflects that personality perfectly: playful on the surface, serious where it counts.
Pressed from 100% wood and manufactured by BBS, the board has that consistent snap and durability serious skaters expect. Whether you’re pushing through late afternoons at Garvey Park, stacking clips in El Monte, or hitting stair sets in Pasadena, the 8.375WB shape offers a balanced platform that feels locked-in but lively.
