Wknd Deck Christian Maalouf Croaking SN (8.25) blends WKND’s offbeat art direction with a shape built for serious street skating. The top ply comes in a rich purple veneer with subtle woodgrain showing through, finished clean with the understated WKND logo stamped near the tail. Flip it over and the bottom graphic hits hard—warped, high-contrast frogs in electric greens and deep reds layered over black and blue, with Christian Maalouf stamped across the center. The chaotic amphibian visuals feel raw and slightly surreal, perfectly in line with WKND’s creative identity.

This 8.25” version is marked SN (Shovel Nose) on the WKND size chart, meaning it features a fuller, squared-off nose for added control on nollie tricks and front-foot catch. Compared to a standard popsicle, the shovel nose gives you a bit more real estate up front without changing the overall width you’re used to. The 8.25” width sits right in that sweet spot for all-around skating—responsive for flip tricks at Garvey Park, stable enough for bigger sets in El Monte, and comfortable on longer sessions from Alhambra to Covina. The wheelbase on the 8.25SN (as shown on the chart) is designed to balance quick snap with stable landings, giving you a centered feel underfoot whether you’re skating flatground lines or dropping into something heavier.

Pressed from 100% wood and Made in Mexico by BBS, you’re getting the same high-quality construction trusted across the industry—strong pop, consistent concave, and durability that holds up through real sessions. WKND’s boards are known for their reliable shape consistency, and this one keeps that tradition intact.

Christian Maalouf’s skating reflects the board’s technical precision. Born in London and raised in Tempe/Phoenix, Arizona, before relocating to Los Angeles, Maalouf built his reputation on crisp pop, smooth ledge work, and calculated technical lines. Now based in LA, he’s become a recognizable name for controlled, high-level street skating that blends finesse with power—exactly the type of riding this 8.25 SN platform supports.
