Toy Machine Deck Myles Willard Forced Coffee (8.5) captures classic Toy Machine surrealism with an unmistakable Ed Templeton character front and center, built on a shape that’s made to actually be skated. Measuring 8.50" x 32.00" with a 14.25" wheelbase, this deck sits comfortably in the modern street range—stable under pressure, quick on flick, and dependable on impact.
The graphic composition is bold and layered. The upper half of the deck is finished in a deep coffee-brown fade that transitions into a clean natural wood veneer below. At the center is an Ed Templeton character slumped forward over a surface, eyes marked with X’s, as a stream of coffee pours directly into its open mouth from a tipped mug. The liquid cascades downward through the figure in exaggerated, almost anatomical fashion, eventually flowing toward a crushed can near the lower section of the board. It’s chaotic, uncomfortable, and unmistakably Templeton—dark humor wrapped in expressive, warped illustration. Near the tail, “Myles Willard” is spelled out in thick, coffee-toned lettering that blends organically into the natural veneer background.
Dimensionally, this board is dialed. The 8.5 width provides extra stability for rails, stair sets, and fast lines, while still maintaining enough responsiveness for technical skating. The 7.00" nose and 6.88" tail create a balanced feel with slightly quicker snap off the tail. A 14.25" wheelbase keeps things stable at speed without sacrificing maneuverability. Ships random color top ply.
Myles Willard’s rise from Baltimore DIY spots to Toy Machine pro reflects that gritty, hardworking energy. Known for creative lines and heavy commitment, his skating carries an East Coast backbone even after relocating to California. This graphic feels aligned with that identity—raw, strange, and unapologetically different.
An 8.5 like this feels right at home around the SGV. Whether you’re hitting crusty banks in El Monte, filming in Pasadena, or stacking clips in West Covina, this width gives confidence without feeling oversized. It’s a shape that works for real skating, not just wall decor.
