The Stix SGV Wheels Shop Dawgs Conical White (54mm/80a) mark a special milestone as the first-ever cruiser wheel released under the STIX SGV name. Built in a versatile 54mm Conical shape and poured in a softer 80a urethane, they deliver a noticeably smoother ride than traditional street wheels while maintaining the control and stability needed for carving, cruising, and all-around skateboarding.
The graphic was created by longtime friend of the shop and artist Hairol Mikelly, also known as Hydro, whose illustrations have become a recognizable part of the STIX SGV family. Printed in vibrant red over clean white urethane, the artwork pays tribute to Bub, Monrovia's beloved shop dog and a familiar face to countless customers over the years. One side of the wheel features a playful cartoon dog running (you can almost hear his out-of-breath grunts), accompanied by paw prints and hand-drawn details that give the design a fun, personal feel. The "Shop Dawgs" lettering wraps around the wheel in bold custom typography, while the STIX SGV logo and "Till the Wheels Fall Off" slogan circle the core, tying the graphic back to the shop's independent roots.
Performance-wise, the 54mm diameter offers a responsive size that still feels familiar to skaters accustomed to standard street setups. The 80a durometer is significantly softer than traditional park and street wheels, helping absorb cracks, rough sidewalks, aging asphalt, and uneven terrain.
