Stix SGV Tee Rough Times Premium S/S (Black/White) channels the grit and resilience of skateboarding with a graphic that’s deeper than it looks at first glance. The front keeps things clean with a subtle STIX chest hit, while the back delivers a bold, high-contrast skull graphic printed in white on black. What sets it apart are the eyes—those aren’t just flames or filler artwork, they’re built from our original Stix SGV logo, burned into the design as a quiet signature. It’s a nod to staying rooted when things get heavy, a reminder that even in rough times, the shop, the scene, and the people behind it are always watching over the culture.
Illustrated by our longtime friend Jonathan Delgado, the artwork carries a raw, textured feel—cracked lines, worn shading, and an unapologetic edge that mirrors real skate life across the SGV. It’s the kind of graphic that feels right whether you’re pushing through Monrovia streets, cutting across Pasadena, or linking spots through Duarte and El Monte. There’s nothing glossy or overthought here—just honesty, history, and a logo that’s been with us since the beginning, reimagined in a way that hits harder the longer you look at it.
Built on a premium mid-weight blank, this tee balances comfort and durability for everyday wear. The regular fit sits naturally, with a soft hand feel that holds up to repeated sessions and washes. Construction details like neck ribbing, side seams, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, and double-needle hems add structure, while the preshrunk combed cotton keeps the fit consistent over time. It’s a shirt made to be worn, skated, and lived in—not babied.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
