Stix SGV Sticker Rough Times 4" (Black/White) keeps things stripped down and honest, built around a raw black-and-white graphic that hits with that classic DIY energy. The design leans into bold contrast—heavy black fills against clean white space—giving it that immediate readability whether it’s posted on a fresh deck, a water bottle, or layered into a well-worn sticker stack. At 4 inches, it lands right in that perfect size range: big enough to stand out, but still easy to place anywhere without overthinking it.

The artwork carries a gritty, hand-drawn feel that reflects exactly what the name suggests—rough times translated into something visual and real. There’s nothing overly polished about it, and that’s the point. It feels like something you’d catch rolling through spots in Covina, stuck to a ledge at Duarte, or faded into a rail somewhere in Pasadena after months of sessions. It’s the kind of sticker that earns its wear over time rather than trying to look perfect from the jump.

This piece was designed by our good friend Jonathan Delgado, a familiar face at Duarte Skatepark and someone who’s been part of the local scene for years. Jonathan is also credited by STIX SGV for creating the permanent shrine dedicated to San Gabriel Valley skateboard legend Chris Strople at our Monrovia location—something that means a lot to the shop and the community. He’s a true homie, someone who’s been there through thick and thin, and someone we’re forever indebted to.

Produced with a durable adhesive backing and clean-cut finish, it’s made to stick and stay, whether it’s holding down your setup or becoming part of the background at your favorite spot. It’s simple, but it carries weight—just like the scene it comes from.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
