Stix SGV Skate Tool (Red) is a clean and dependable essential built for everyday skateboard maintenance. Featuring a classic T-shape design with a bright red molded body and polished chrome sockets, this tool covers everything needed for standard skateboard adjustments while keeping a lightweight, compact feel that’s easy to carry from spot to spot. The bold red finish paired with the black STIX SGV print gives it a straightforward skate-shop look without overcomplicating the design.
Built around the traditional skate tool layout, this tool includes the three core socket sizes found on most skateboard setups. The 9/16" socket is used for adjusting truck kingpin nuts to control how loose or tight your trucks turn. The 1/2" socket is designed for wheel axle nuts, allowing skaters to install or remove wheels quickly. The 3/8" socket is used for the mounting hardware nuts that secure the trucks directly to the deck. Hidden inside the handle is a removable screwdriver and Allen key system for compatibility with both Phillips and Allen hardware setups.
The molded handle shape feels comfortable in hand while still staying compact enough to toss into a backpack, skate bag, camera bag, or glove compartment. Whether you’re swapping wheels before a session around Pasadena, tightening loose hardware outside the Monrovia shop, or helping a friend rebuild a complete in Claremont, the Stix SGV Skate Tool (Red) is designed around the everyday reality of skateboarding.
Designed and backed by the crew at Stix SGV, this tool reflects the same practical mentality the shop has carried throughout the San Gabriel Valley for decades — reliable skate essentials built by skateboarders who actually use them.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
