Stix SGV Skate Tool Premium Ratchet (Green) is a fully featured all-in-one skateboard tool built for skaters who want more than just the basics. Finished in a bright high-visibility green with polished chrome sockets, a black ratchet collar, and removable driver attachments, this premium tool combines standard skate functionality with upgraded features designed to make setup adjustments quicker, easier, and more efficient whether you’re working on your board at home, outside the shop, or mid-session somewhere around the San Gabriel Valley.
The compact T-shape body houses three essential skateboard socket sizes used for different parts of a skateboard setup. The 9/16" socket is used for adjusting the kingpin nut on skateboard trucks, helping control how loose or tight your trucks turn. The 1/2" socket is designed for wheel axle nuts, allowing skaters to remove or install wheels with ease. The 3/8" socket handles the mounting hardware nuts that secure your trucks to the skateboard deck. Together, these three socket sizes cover nearly every adjustment needed on a standard skateboard setup.
One of the standout features of the Stix SGV Skate Tool Premium Ratchet (Green) is the built-in semi-automatic left and right ratchet switch system located above the gold quick-release section. This ratcheting mechanism allows skaters to tighten or loosen hardware more efficiently without constantly lifting and repositioning the tool. The center lock position also keeps the socket immobilized when needed for precision adjustments.
Integrated directly into the center of the tool is a 5/16" axle rethreader, designed to restore damaged axle threading caused by overtightened axle nuts or worn truck axles. Instead of replacing an entire truck because of stripped threads, skaters can often repair the axle directly using the built-in rethreading die.
The removable lower driver section includes both a detachable Phillips head screwdriver and 1/8" Allen wrench for compatibility with different skateboard hardware types. The extended shaft also doubles as a bearing removal tool and bearing press tool, making bearing swaps much easier while helping prevent shield damage during installation or removal. The textured metal section acts as a precision grip tape file as well, allowing skaters to smooth rough grip edges after applying fresh grip tape.
Additional removable 4mm and 5mm hexagon wrench functions are built into the interchangeable driver pieces, giving the tool even more versatility for skaters who regularly work on multiple setups or different hardware configurations.
The backside features recessed onboard storage for the removable screwdriver attachment along with a printed STIX SGV logo, helping keep everything compact and organized inside a backpack, skate bag, or glove compartment. The lightweight but durable construction makes it practical for everyday use whether you’re setting up a fresh complete in Monrovia, changing wheels before filming around Pasadena, or helping a friend fix loose hardware during a session in Claremont.
