Stix SGV Skate Tool Premium Ratchet (Black) is a fully upgraded all-in-one skateboard tool built for skaters who actually maintain and fine-tune their setups regularly. Finished in a clean matte black body with polished chrome sockets, a black ratcheting collar, and metallic gold quick-release hardware, this premium tool combines the functionality of a traditional skate tool with advanced features designed to make adjustments smoother, faster, and more practical whether you’re setting up a fresh complete at home or making quick fixes before a session somewhere around the San Gabriel Valley.
The compact T-shape design houses three essential skateboard socket sizes used across nearly every standard skateboard setup. The 9/16" socket is used for adjusting the truck kingpin nut, allowing skaters to control how loose or tight their trucks feel while turning. The 1/2" socket is designed for axle nuts, making wheel installation and wheel removal quick and easy. The 3/8" socket is used for the mounting hardware nuts that secure the trucks directly to the skateboard deck.
One of the biggest upgrades on the Stix SGV Skate Tool Premium Ratchet (Black) is the built-in semi-automatic left and right ratchet switch system located above the gold quick-release section. This ratcheting mechanism allows users to tighten or loosen hardware without needing to constantly remove and reposition the tool, making setup changes noticeably faster during sessions or quick adjustments.
Integrated directly into the center of the tool is a built-in 5/16" axle rethreader, designed to repair damaged truck axle threading caused by overtightened axle nuts or worn threads. Instead of replacing an entire truck because of stripped threading, skaters can often restore the axle directly using the built-in threading die.
The removable lower driver section includes both a detachable Phillips head screwdriver and 1/8" Allen wrench for compatibility with different skateboard mounting hardware. The extended lower shaft also functions as both a bearing removal tool and bearing press tool, making bearing swaps cleaner and easier while helping avoid damage to shields and bearing cores. The textured metal section doubles as a precision grip tape file for smoothing sharp grip edges after applying fresh grip.
Additional removable 4mm and 5mm hexagon wrench functions are built into the interchangeable driver pieces, giving the tool even more versatility for skaters who regularly work on multiple setups, camera gear, accessories, or different hardware configurations.
The backside of the tool features recessed onboard storage for the removable screwdriver attachment along with a printed STIX SGV logo, keeping everything organized and compact enough to fit inside a backpack, skate bag, or glove compartment.
