The Stix SGV Deck Spanky Banana Regular (Multi) represents a unique collaboration between Stix SGV and one of skateboarding’s most influential personalities, Kevin "Spanky" Long. Originally created as exclusive artwork for a Stix SGV Skate Shop Day 2026 postcard, this graphic quickly became a favorite among customers and staff alike. Rather than allowing the artwork to remain a one-time collectible, we worked to bring it to life on a skateboard deck, transforming a memorable piece of shop history into a fully skateable product that captures the creativity and humor that have always been part of skateboarding culture.
The graphic features Spanky's unmistakable artistic style, centered around a wildly expressive banana character brought to life with exaggerated cartoon features. The banana's oversized eyes, sharp-toothed grin, and extended red tongue create a chaotic yet playful personality that immediately grabs attention. Behind the character, repeated STIX logos stack vertically across a clean white background, creating a bold contrast that allows the artwork to dominate the deck.
