The Stix SGV Deck Lady Hauk Sword Girl "Q" Shape (Glow) is a striking in-house shop deck featuring original artwork by our good friend Jeanine Hauk AKA “Lady Hauk”, an artist we have a long history with and deep respect for. Lady Hauk’s work blends tattoo-inspired linework, dark romantic imagery, and bold feminine energy, and this graphic carries that exact feel. It is clean, sharp, mysterious, and powerful without trying too hard.

The bottom graphic sits on a deep black background, giving the white artwork a dramatic, high-contrast look. The illustration shows a sword-bearing female figure stretched across the deck with flowing hair, jewelry details, chains, high boots, and a strong fantasy-meets-tattoo aesthetic. The sword rises vertically through the center-right of the graphic, while the figure’s pose wraps around the shape of the board in a way that makes the whole deck feel custom-built around the artwork. A small STIX logo sits near the tail with a snake-like detail above it, adding a subtle shop mark without overpowering the piece. The Glow element gives the deck an extra layer of personality, making the white areas feel even more alive against the black base.

This deck has the kind of visual style that connects naturally with the underground side of skateboarding—tattoo shops, late-night sessions, DIY spots, and the kind of SGV skaters who want something with more character than a basic logo board. It feels right at home in the San Gabriel Valley, from Monrovia and Duarte to Pasadena, Alhambra, Covina, Claremont, South Pasadena, and the surrounding cities where skateboarding, art, music, and street culture have always overlapped.

The Q Shape is a major part of what makes this board special. This shape takes inspiration from our popular “O” shape geometry, then tightens it up for a more technical, responsive feel. It features a shovel nose, a more square nose and tail, and a consistent 14.0-inch wheelbase across all sizes. That shorter, standardized wheelbase helps the board flip faster, react quicker, and feel more consistent from size to size. The Q Shape is great for skaters who like a blunt, modern shape with quick response underfoot—especially for street skating, ledges, flatground, manuals, and technical tricks where board control matters.

Our STIX SGV decks are pressed in Mexico, and that is a big part of why they feel so solid. Mexico is known throughout the skate industry for producing high-quality skateboard decks with consistent pressing, strong lamination, and dependable shape control. A good deck is not just about the graphic—it is about how the board pops, how long it holds its shape, how the concave feels, and how it performs after real sessions. Having these boards pressed in Mexico helps give each deck the strength, snap, and quality skaters expect from a proper shop deck.

The Stix SGV Deck Lady Hauk Sword Girl "Q" Shape (Glow) brings together local shop history, trusted deck manufacturing, and artwork from someone who has been part of our creative circle for years. Lady Hauk’s graphic gives the board its soul, the Q Shape gives it its quick technical feel, and the Mexico pressing gives it the quality needed to actually skate hard. It is a deck with art value, shop history, and real function built into one piece.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
