Also included is a complete set of premium gold locking nuts for both the axles and kingpins, allowing riders to upgrade whenever they choose. The nylon-insert locking nuts help prevent hardware from backing off during repeated use, keeping both your wheels secure and your trucks properly adjusted. The artwork was created by Kevin "Spanky" Long, one of skateboarding's most respected professionals, illustrators, and creative minds. Born in Oak Park, California, and raised in nearby Agoura Hills, Spanky first rose to prominence after winning Tampa Am in 2003 before becoming a cornerstone of both Baker Skateboards and Emerica. Through iconic video parts including This Is Skateboarding, Baker 3, and Stay Gold, he helped define an entire generation of skateboarding. Beyond his professional career, Spanky has become an accomplished fine artist whose work has appeared in galleries throughout Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, and Sydney. As Art Director for Baker Skateboards, his unmistakable illustration style continues to influence skateboard graphics around the world, making this collaboration especially meaningful.
