While the graphic honors our roots, the components have been completely updated for today's riders. Every detail has been refined to create a fingerboard that feels smoother, lasts longer, and delivers a noticeably more realistic riding experience than typical entry-level completes.

One of the biggest upgrades is our thicker premium grip tape, offering increased traction and improved board feel. The additional thickness provides better finger control for flip tricks, manuals, grinds, and technical combinations, giving riders more confidence whether they're just learning or pushing advanced fingerboard lines.

Another major improvement comes from our premium urethane wheels. Unlike the hard plastic wheels found on many basic fingerboards, urethane wheels roll smoother, provide better grip, run quieter, and create a more authentic feel that closely resembles riding a full-sized skateboard. Whether you're skating rails, ledges, ramps, or homemade obstacles, the difference is immediately noticeable.

Each complete arrives factory assembled with traditional silver hardware, making it ready to skate right out of the package. Also included is a complete set of premium gold locking nuts for both the axles and kingpins, giving you the option to upgrade your setup whenever you'd like. The nylon-insert locking nuts help prevent hardware from loosening during repeated sessions, keeping your wheels securely fastened and your trucks properly adjusted. The result is less maintenance, fewer mid-session adjustments, and a setup that stays dialed in longer than standard hardware.

Every complete includes polished metal trucks, premium urethane wheels, thick grip tape, a fingerboard adjustment tool, the original installed silver hardware, and the optional gold locking nut upgrade. Riders can enjoy the traditional setup immediately or install the upgraded locking hardware for even greater reliability.

Unlike many graphics created solely for products, the OG Original represents a genuine milestone in our company's history. In 2001, the shop officially changed its name from STYX Boardshop to STIX Rideshop, introducing the logo featured on this fingerboard. That rebrand marked the beginning of a new chapter while maintaining the same commitment to independent skateboarding that has guided us ever since. Today, this original logo remains a favorite among longtime customers who remember the early days as well as newer generations discovering the brand for the first time.
