Spitfire Wheels Formula Four X April Yuto Horigome Conical Full Natural (54mm/99d) pairs Spitfire’s Formula Four performance with April Skateboards’ Yuto Horigome signature artwork in a clean natural urethane colorway. The wheel has an off-white natural body with bold red “Spitfire” and “Yuto” lettering wrapping around the face, gold “Horigome” text near the center, and April branding worked into the graphic. On the right side, a black and dark grey ninja-style character with sharp red eyes sits above two gold “Yuto” medal graphics, giving the wheel a strong signature look tied directly to Yuto’s historic career.
At 54mm, this version gives you more roll speed, better clearance, and a smoother feel over rougher ground compared to smaller technical wheels, while still staying light enough for flip tricks, ledges, manuals, and street lines. The Conical Full shape has a wider 34mm overall width and 22mm riding surface, giving it more stability underfoot and a locked-in feel on rails and ledges. The 99d Formula Four urethane is made for speed, predictable slide control, flat-spot resistance, and long-lasting performance on everything from smooth parks to rough SGV street spots around Monrovia, Pasadena, Duarte, Azusa, Glendora, Covina, Claremont, and South Pasadena.
Yuto Horigome is a Japanese professional street skateboarder from Kōtō, Tokyo, known for clean technical skating, calm execution, and elite consistency. Introduced to skating by his father, Ryota Horigome, Yuto began skating seriously as a kid before moving to California as a teenager to pursue skateboarding at the highest level. He became the first men’s street skateboarding Olympic gold medalist when the event debuted in Tokyo, then defended his place in history with another gold in Paris. His parts with April Skateboards and Nike SB, along with his contest history, have made him one of the most influential street skaters in the world.
Spitfire comes from the Deluxe Distribution family out of San Francisco, with Jim Thiebaud and the Deluxe crew behind some of skateboarding’s most respected brands. April Skateboards was founded by Shane O’Neill, whose technical style and clean visual direction line up naturally with Yuto’s skating. Together, this wheel feels like a true performance collab: Spitfire urethane, April presentation, and Yuto-level precision.
