The Snot Wheels Franky Villani Pumpkins Green (54mm/99a) brings together the unmistakable creativity of professional skateboarder Franky Villani and the twisted, horror-inspired artwork that defines Snot Wheels. Featuring a deep black urethane body covered in fluorescent green jack-o'-lantern graphics, bright yellow lettering, and gritty black textures, these signature wheels capture the strange, unpredictable personality that has made Franky one of modern skateboarding's most original riders. With a 54mm diameter and 99a durometer, they offer a versatile combination of speed, grip, and controlled slide performance for skateboarders who enjoy everything from technical street skating to banks, ledges, and skatepark transitions.
The artwork transforms the entire wheel into a sinister Halloween-inspired illustration, featuring two distorted pumpkin faces positioned on opposite sides of the center hub. Each jack-o'-lantern has glowing neon green eyes, sharply angled noses, and oversized, jagged mouths filled with bright yellow-green teeth. Heavy black shading, scattered speckles, and swirling fluorescent green brushstrokes create a weathered, almost radioactive appearance. Across the upper portion, the word "SNOT" appears in enormous, dripping green lettering with thick black outlines and yellow cellular patterns filling the lower portions of the letters. To the right, the 54mm diameter and 99a hardness are displayed in bold, irregular yellow lettering that follows the curve of the wheel.
At the bottom, "FRANKY'S PUMPKINS" appears in oversized, distorted yellow letters outlined in black, surrounded by swirling green graphics and rough, splattered textures. The recessed black center hub features a dramatic circular green brushstroke, creating the illusion of a glowing vortex surrounding the bearing opening. The combination of pitch black urethane, electric green illustrations, and bright yellow accents gives the wheel a distinctly sinister appearance. Unlike a conventional skateboard wheel graphic, the design feels like a combination of underground horror comics, vintage Halloween artwork, and the exaggerated cartoon style associated with Snot Wheels.
The 54mm diameter offers a versatile setup for skateboarders who want a balance of technical responsiveness and rolling performance. Compared with smaller 52mm wheels, the additional diameter helps maintain momentum and provides slightly more clearance over uneven surfaces while remaining manageable for flip tricks, manuals, and technical street skating. The 99a hardness delivers a firm, responsive feel with reliable grip and predictable sliding characteristics on appropriate concrete surfaces. This makes the wheel particularly appealing for skaters who move between smooth skatepark terrain, street ledges, banks, and everyday obstacles without constantly changing their setup.
Franky Villani is a professional skateboarder from Santa Ana, California, whose unconventional trick selection and distinctive personality have earned him a reputation as one of the most creative street skateboarders of his generation. Growing up in Orange County, Franky spent much of his childhood at the Santa Ana Skatepark, developing his skills through countless hours of skating and experimentation. Rather than concentrating exclusively on conventional tricks or contest-oriented skating, he gravitated toward unusual obstacles, unexpected combinations, and finding possibilities in terrain that most skateboarders would overlook.
Influenced by the creativity of skateboarders such as Jerry Hsu and Louie Barletta, Franky developed a style that combines difficult technical tricks with an almost effortless sense of improvisation. His early career included time riding for Black Label, Almost, Mystery, and Zero Skateboards before joining Paul Rodriguez's Primitive Skateboarding team in 2018. He officially turned professional later that year, establishing himself as a major personality within the company's roster. After an eight-year association with Primitive, Franky departed the company in June 2026, marking another significant transition in his professional career.
Franky's reputation has been built largely through his remarkable video parts, where his unusual approach to street skating is on full display. His appearances in Primitive's Never and Encore introduced a wider audience to his creativity, while his 2020 Thrasher Magazine part One Big Mess reinforced his ability to turn seemingly impossible street spots into something completely unexpected. His work in Dickies' Alone With My Demons and Honeymoon, along with New Balance Numeric projects such as 417 and Running Numbers, continued to showcase his distinctive combination of technical ability, unpredictable trick selection, and unconventional spot choices. Wallrides, awkward banks, surprising body variations, and tricks that seem to come out of nowhere have become defining elements of his skating.
Outside skateboarding, Franky has a strong interest in drawing, vintage horror movies, 1980s and 1990s cartoons, retro action figures, and classic skateboard graphics. He's also known for collecting horror memorabilia, unusual masks, and vintage skateboards, interests that help explain the darker, more playful aesthetic frequently found on his signature products. His creative personality extends naturally into collaborations with companies such as New Balance Numeric, Dickies Skateboarding, Thunder Trucks, and Snot Wheels. The Franky's Pumpkins graphic fits directly into that world, combining his fascination with strange characters and horror imagery with a design that feels both nostalgic and unmistakably modern.
Snot Wheels was founded by British skateboarder and artist Mark "Fos" Foster, the creative force behind Heroin Skateboards. Since establishing Heroin in 1998, Foster has become one of skateboarding's most recognizable underground artists, contributing distinctive graphics to companies including Baker, Deathwish, Toy Machine, and Creature. His work has consistently embraced exaggerated cartoon characters, grotesque humor, unconventional typography, and artwork that challenges traditional skateboard industry aesthetics.
Foster established Snot Wheels in 2020 after recognizing that skateboarders such as Dead Dave needed additional wheel support. What began as a small independent project developed into a dedicated skateboard wheel company built around original artwork, distinctive shapes, and riders who approach skateboarding on their own terms. Its early production runs arrived in 2021 and quickly gained attention among skaters who appreciated the company's combination of performance-oriented equipment and unapologetically strange graphics. The involvement of riders such as Dead Dave, Nolan Houghton, and Franky Villani has helped shape Snot's identity as a company rooted in skateboarding's more creative and independent side.
The Franky Villani Pumpkins Green model is a natural expression of that philosophy. Its radioactive-looking pumpkin faces, exaggerated lettering, and fluorescent colors reflect both Foster's artistic direction and Franky's personal fascination with horror-inspired imagery. While the artwork is unmistakably loud, the 54mm and 99a specifications maintain the versatility expected from a modern street skateboard wheel.
For skateboarders throughout the San Gabriel Valley, this combination makes sense for the variety of terrain found around Monrovia, Arcadia, Pasadena, Duarte, and Glendora. From technical street sessions and local skateparks to the ledges, banks, and transitions found throughout Claremont, Alhambra, and South Pasadena, the 54mm profile provides an adaptable option for everyday skating. Franky's Southern California roots and unconventional approach also connect naturally with the local skate scene, where creativity and making something out of ordinary spots have always been essential parts of skateboarding.
The Snot Wheels Franky Villani Pumpkins Green feature a 54mm diameter, 99a durometer, black urethane, fluorescent green jack-o'-lantern illustrations, bright yellow signature lettering, distressed black shading, and a distinctive green vortex graphic surrounding the center hub. A signature pro model celebrating Franky Villani's unmistakable personality and the independent artistic vision of Mark "Fos" Foster, these wheels combine practical street-skating dimensions with some of the most recognizable horror-inspired graphics in skateboarding.
