The Snot Wheels Dead Daves Mullets Conical White (54mm/101a) combines old-school attitude, outrageous cartoon artwork, and high-performance skateboard urethane in a signature wheel inspired by British professional skateboarder Dead Dave Adlington. Featuring a classic white urethane body with bright yellow, turquoise, red, and black graphics, these 54mm wheels capture the unconventional personality that has made both Dead Dave and Snot Wheels favorites within skateboarding's underground scene. With a hard 101a durometer and conical profile, they're built for skaters who appreciate responsive performance, controlled slides, and a firm feel underfoot while riding street spots, ledges, banks, and smooth concrete transitions.

The artwork brings the unmistakable personality of Dead Dave to life through a combination of 1980s-inspired cartoon illustration and bold skateboarding typography. Across the upper portion of the wheel, the word "MULLETS" stretches around the outer edge in oversized, irregular lettering featuring turquoise interiors, distressed white highlights, thick black outlines, and bright yellow borders. On the right side, an exaggerated illustration of Dead Dave features a long, pointed nose, heavy-lidded eyes, clenched teeth, and an unmistakable bright yellow mullet, complete with short, spiked hair on top and long, flowing hair extending past the neck. Heavy black outlines and deliberately distorted facial features give the character an aggressive, underground comic-book appearance.

On the left, a crushed yellow can displays the words "DEAD DAVE'S" in white lettering, surrounded by splashes of bright turquoise liquid that twist and flow around the wheel's lower edge. Beneath the center hub, a yellow rectangular panel carries the SNOT WHEELS name in thick black lettering, while the wheel's 54mm diameter appears in oversized white numerals outlined in black and yellow. The 101a hardness is positioned diagonally nearby in matching yellow lettering. The recessed center hub remains predominantly white with soft grey shading, allowing the colorful artwork to stand out against the natural urethane. The combination of vintage comic styling, exaggerated facial expressions, and loud contrasting colors makes this one of those wheel graphics that could only come from the creative world of Snot Wheels.

The 54mm diameter offers a versatile size for technical street skating while providing enough wheel to maintain speed through ledges, banks, and smooth transition. Its conical profile features angled sidewalls designed to offer a more defined contact shape and predictable performance when approaching grinds and slides. At 101a, the harder urethane favors speed, quick response, and easier slide initiation on smoother surfaces, making it particularly appealing to riders who prefer a traditional hard-wheel feel. Compared with softer compounds, 101a wheels generally transmit more vibration over rough pavement, but reward riders with a direct connection to the ground and controlled slide characteristics.

Behind the wheel is Dead Dave, whose real name is Dave Adlington, a professional skateboarder from the Sheffield and Dronfield area of England. Dave began skating around 2000 and developed a reputation for approaching skateboarding with an unpredictable combination of aggression, humor, and complete disregard for conventional expectations. His nickname, Dead Dave, reflects the notoriously chaotic stories surrounding his life, including surviving serious accidents and accumulating years of unforgettable experiences while traveling and skating with friends.

Dave's skateboarding is heavily influenced by the raw energy of 1980s pool skating, early street skating, and the unconventional style of riders such as Duane Peters. Rather than pursuing polished technical perfection, he gravitates toward rough concrete, crusty ditches, banks, unusual transitions, and overlooked street obstacles. His skating often incorporates powerful carving, unexpected trick combinations, and creative use of terrain, making even ordinary spots look completely different through his approach.

His preference for oversized and unconventional skateboard shapes further separates him from more traditional street skaters. Frequently riding wide 10-inch and larger Heroin Skateboards decks, Dave combines the feel of vintage skateboard setups with modern street and transition skating. His long-standing involvement with the British underground scene, including the Bad Boi Cru and the Baghead filmmaking collective, helped establish his reputation well beyond the United Kingdom.

Dave eventually became a professional rider for Heroin Skateboards, the independent company founded in 1998 by British artist and skateboarder Mark "Fos" Foster. Foster recognized Dave's unusual talent and personality, bringing him into a team known for oversized board shapes, experimental graphics, and a skateboarding philosophy centered on individuality. Dave's footage in projects such as Earth Goblin and Mutate or Die helped introduce his energetic style to a much larger audience while reinforcing his reputation as one of skateboarding's most entertaining unconventional professionals.

Snot Wheels itself was created by Mark "Fos" Foster, whose influence extends far beyond his own companies. Over the years, Foster has produced artwork and helped shape the visual identities of some of skateboarding's most influential brands, including Baker, Deathwish, Toy Machine, and Creature. His interest in grotesque cartoon characters, underground comics, and experimental skateboard equipment has become a recognizable part of modern skateboard culture.

The idea for Snot Wheels emerged in 2020 when Foster realized that Dead Dave didn't have a wheel sponsor. Rather than waiting for an established company to support him, Foster decided to start a wheel brand himself. Dave became one of the company's first riders alongside Jake Snelling. Despite production challenges during the pandemic, Snot's initial wheels arrived in 2021 and quickly sold out. The company developed into a small, independently operated operation built around American-made urethane, distinctive wheel shapes, unconventional graphics, and a tightly connected team of skateboarders.

The Dead Daves Mullets model represents that relationship between rider and company particularly well. Its oversized cartoon portrait, fluorescent colors, and unapologetically ridiculous mullet theme reflect Dave's personality while remaining faithful to Foster's recognizable artistic direction. It's the kind of skateboarding product where the graphics and the rider behind them are just as much a part of the appeal as the technical specifications.

For skateboarders throughout the San Gabriel Valley, the 54mm conical profile offers a practical option for sessions around Monrovia, Arcadia, Pasadena, and Duarte, while the hard 101a formula is especially well suited to smoother concrete at local skateparks and established street spots. From Glendora and Claremont to Alhambra and South Pasadena, these wheels appeal to skaters who appreciate independent skateboard companies, unusual artwork, and the creative freedom that riders like Dead Dave continue to represent.

The Snot Wheels Dead Daves Mullets Conical White feature a 54mm diameter, 101a durometer, white urethane construction, conical profile, and detailed multicolor artwork featuring Dead Dave's exaggerated mullet portrait, turquoise splashes, a crushed yellow can, and oversized retro-inspired lettering. Created under the direction of Mark "Fos" Foster, this signature model brings together Snot Wheels' independent approach to skateboard equipment and Dead Dave's distinctive British skateboarding heritage.
