The Slushcult Picnic Table takes one of skateboarding's most recognizable schoolyard obstacles and recreates it as a heavy-duty, miniature fingerboard setup. Built entirely from solid steel, this realistic picnic table features a smooth, bright red powder-coated tabletop with matching benches on both sides. The wide rectangular surface has softly rounded corners, while the narrow bench seats provide additional edges for grinds, slides, and transfers. Exposed raw steel legs and angular support brackets give the obstacle an authentic industrial appearance, closely resembling the full-sized picnic tables found at schools and public parks.

Weighing approximately 2 pounds, this isn't your average lightweight fingerboard obstacle. Its substantial steel construction helps keep the table planted during technical sessions, while the thick metal supports are built to withstand repeated use. Measuring 7 inches long, 5.75 inches wide, and 2.5 inches high, it provides plenty of room for manuals across the tabletop, grinds along the benches, and creative combinations between the different surfaces. The durable powder-coated finish provides a smooth riding surface, and the entire obstacle is proudly made in the USA.

Slushcult was founded by Clayton McCarthy, better known in the fingerboarding community as Slushgod. Based in Santa Ana, California, the brand grew from a skate-inspired streetwear project into a recognized name in fingerboarding, with its Slushcult Mini Mart becoming a gathering place for enthusiasts. McCarthy's commitment to creativity, community, and keeping fingerboarding connected to actual skate culture is reflected in products like this one, where realistic design meets functional construction.

Whether you're building a miniature schoolyard setup at home or expanding an existing fingerboard park, the Slushcult Picnic Table offers a solid foundation for experimenting with new tricks and lines. It's a fitting addition to the growing fingerboarding scene throughout the San Gabriel Valley, from Pasadena and Arcadia to the communities surrounding our three skate shops.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
