Slappy Trucks ST1 Inverted Hollow Light / Ultra Low Kingpin Polished 8.25 (Sold as Pair) are built with one thing in mind: going fast into curbs, ledges, and anything else that wants to hang you up—and coming out clean. The polished hanger and baseplate give these trucks a classic raw look, while the inverted hollow kingpin design keeps everything tucked up and out of the way. You’ll notice the ultra-low kingpin immediately, sitting recessed and protected, paired with a shorter top bushing that creates extra grind clearance and a noticeably higher Slappy angle. Translation: less drag, smoother lock-ins, and no kingpin bite slowing you down.
The forged baseplate adds strength without excess weight, while the hollow kingpin and axle reduce mass where it counts, keeping setups light and responsive. These trucks are designed to turn fast and snap back instantly, with no break-in time needed. The geometry allows for looser setups without sacrificing control, and the added kingpin thread gives you the flexibility to dial them tighter or looser depending on how you skate. Wheel bite is minimized, turning is quick and predictable, and the overall feel is fast, lively, and forgiving—exactly what you want when you’re skating rough spots, crusty curbs, or long sessions in the streets.
Slappy Trucks came out of a desire to rethink truck design from the ground up, focusing on grind clearance, turning response, and durability without overcomplicating things. The ST1 has become a favorite for skaters who want zero hang-ups and maximum fun, whether you’re skating parks, street spots, or your local curb on repeat. Sized for 8.25” decks, these trucks are sold as a pair and are ready to skate straight out of the box—no adjustments, no excuses.
