When it comes to tried-and-true skateboard hardware, Shortys Hardware Phillips (1.0") has remained a go-to for generations of skaters. Known for its reliability, clean design, and time-tested strength, this 1" set of Phillips hardware is perfect for standard setups with minimal riser pad use. Whether you’re building a fresh board to tackle South Pasadena’s curbs or locking in your trucks for a long session in Claremont’s plaza, these bolts won’t let you down.
Founded by Tony Buyalos in 1992, Shorty’s defined an era of skateboarding in the late '90s and early 2000s with its iconic team, rebellious attitude, and pioneering video work like Fulfill the Dream. But even after the video dust settled, Shortys hardware remained one of the most respected staples in skateboarding. Built to last and trusted by core skaters worldwide, Shortys has always done one thing well—keep it original.
Each pack includes eight 1-inch black Phillips bolts, eight zinc-plated silver nuts, and a subtly nostalgic nod to skateboarding's golden era. It’s gear made for skaters by skaters—just like the hills and street spots scattered across Los Angeles County.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
