Scrape Wax Skull (Ash Reaper) brings the bleak with a hazy gradient of ashen gray and smoke-charred bone that looks like it was unearthed straight from a scorched graveyard. This is no novelty wax—this is five ounces of pure skate fuel, triple-dipped at 160 degrees and poured into a custom skull mold that gives off major underworld energy. At 3 inches tall by 4 inches wide, it’s hefty enough to throw in your backpack without fear of it melting before the session ends.

Handcrafted by Neil Daniel de Paz, a lifelong skater out of Sherman Oaks who’s clocked over a decade on the board, Scrape Wax was born out of DIY sessions and crusty curb revivals. Each piece is unique, each pour slightly different, and each colorway inspired by skateboarding’s darker, grittier corners—not some factory knockoff. The Ash Reaper delivers a raw, low-gloss finish with storm-gray swirls that look just as haunted as your last slam at Garvanza.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022.
