Santa Cruz Tee Dressen Evo Heavyweight S/S (Charcoal) brings Eric Dressen’s classic tattoo-inspired aesthetic to a sturdy everyday staple. The charcoal body is cut from a heavyweight cotton that holds its shape after long sessions. Up front, a small left-chest patch print frames “Santa Cruz” above a woven, filigreed emblem—clean and low-key for cruising from curbs in Almansor Park to night runs through Downtown LA. Flip it over and the back explodes with a full collage: roses and bones circling the Santa Cruz seal, paw prints, a skull-and-sunset scene, and Dressen’s signature type—screened in cream, crimson, and black with crisp linework that pops off the dark base.
Born in 1973, Santa Cruz is one of skateboarding’s longest-running graphics powerhouses—part of NHS alongside Independent and Creature—famous for Jim Phillips art, iconic “dot” logos, and boards and apparel made to be thrashed. This tee carries that lineage: a roomy, durable fit, ribbed collar, and soft hand print that breaks in perfectly whether you’re pushing the Claremont Colleges, bombing side streets in Monrovia, or grabbing late-night tacos in South Pas after a skate.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
