Real Deck Nicole Hause Echos True Fit (8.25) blends clean woodgrain simplicity with expressive, hand-drawn artwork, creating a board that feels both grounded and personal. The top veneer comes in a rich purple stain, letting the natural grain patterns flow through while keeping things minimal with a centered white graphic reading “REAL SKATEBOARDS by Nora Vasconcellos,” paired with a playful cat doodle. It’s subtle but intentional—something you notice whether you’re gripping it in the shop or setting it down at a curb spot in San Gabriel or Highland Park before a session.
Flip it over and the energy shifts. The bottom graphic opens up into a vibrant, almost hypnotic pattern of layered blue and teal teardrop shapes radiating outward, creating a sense of motion even when the board is still. Centered in that pattern sits a soft, sketch-style character drawn in Nora Vasconcellos’ signature style—loose, expressive, and a little surreal. Below it, a bold “nicole hause” nameplate anchors the graphic, with the REAL logo stamped clean near the tail. The contrast between the raw top and fully illustrated bottom gives the deck a balanced identity—simple when you want it, loud when you flip it.
Built on REAL’s True Fit construction, the 8.25” width paired with a 31.5” length and 13.88” wheelbase delivers a responsive, all-around shape that works just as well hitting ledges as it does flowing through transition. It’s a size that feels right at home across the SGV—whether you’re skating the smooth parks around South Pasadena or piecing together lines in parking lots across El Monte. The shape is consistent, the concave feels familiar, and the pop is what you expect from a brand that’s been doing this at a high level for decades.
Nicole Hause’s presence on this board carries weight. Coming out of Stillwater, Minnesota, she built her foundation skating a ramp her dad constructed to deal with harsh winters and limited access to skate spots. That DIY upbringing translated into a powerful transition style that pushed her into the spotlight early—winning major contests like Vert Attack and Combi Pool Classic, and earning a spot on the inaugural USA Skateboarding National Team. Since turning pro for REAL in 2022 as their first female pro rider, she’s continued to shift focus toward creativity, design, and projects that reflect her personality and perspective, making this collaboration with Nora Vasconcellos feel natural and authentic.
