Powell Peralta Tee Skateboard Skeleton S/S (Black) brings one of the most iconic images in skateboarding history to a timeless black short-sleeve silhouette. The tee features a deep black base that lets the artwork hit hard, with a small left-chest graphic showing the Skateboard Skeleton mid-motion and a large back print that fully showcases the dynamic pose, crisp linework, and classic Bones yellow logo. The skeleton’s arched posture, floating board, and exaggerated movement capture that raw late-’70s energy that still feels relevant today. Printed using durable screen ink, the graphics stay bold without sacrificing a soft hand feel.

Constructed from 5.5oz 100% soft-spun cotton jersey, this tee has a comfortable, everyday weight that works whether you’re skating curb spots in Pasadena, pushing through side streets in El Monte, or cooling off after a session in Arcadia. The standard adult fit offers a familiar feel through the shoulders and body, making it easy to wear loose or true to size. A screen-printed interior label keeps things itch-free and clean, staying true to Powell Peralta’s long-standing attention to quality.

The Skateboard Skeleton artwork itself dates back to the late 1970s, created by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (VCJ) during the early days of Bones Wheels. Originally released in 1979, the image was one of the first graphics developed under the Powell Peralta name and quickly became a cornerstone of skate art. The skeletal anatomy, motion realism, and surreal energy helped define the visual language of modern skateboarding and remains instantly recognizable decades later. It’s the kind of graphic that feels just as at home skating schoolyards in San Gabriel or posted up at a spot in Covina as it did blasting pools in its early years.
