Powell Peralta Hat Ripper 2 Snapback (Camo) brings VCJ’s legendary skull tear-through to a rugged woodland pattern. The mid-profile, 6-panel crown is cut from durable cotton twill with stitched eyelets, a matching fabric button, and a flat bill that keeps glare down on hot SGV afternoons. The Ripper graphic is crisp and centered—bright yellow eyes, red tear, and fine linework that pops off the greens and browns. Inside, a soft sweatband handles long sessions, while the adjustable snapback locks in a secure fit whether you’re cruising San Gabriel River paths or catching a sunset rollaway after a Claremont curb mission.

Since 1978, Powell-Peralta—founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta—has set the standard for skate heritage and innovation. Vernon Courtlandt Johnson’s (VCJ) artwork defined the brand’s visual language, and the Ripper remains one of skateboarding’s most recognizable icons, as fresh today as it was in the Bones Brigade era.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022.
