Powell Peralta Deck OG Ripper 15 Reissue Red Foil (10.0)

The OG Ripper 15 Reissue in Red Foil turns every wall or session into a gallery piece. On the bottom, V.C. Johnson’s 1983 Ripper bursts through hypnotic red-and-black foil “rips,” framed by black rails and cutouts that echo the original old-school silhouette. The top is matte black with the classic Powell-Peralta Dragon printed in red—clean, menacing, and era-correct. Its 10.0" width, 30" length, 16.25" wheelbase, 3" nose, and 5.95" tail bring that early-’80s pool/vert stance, while the LONG 4 – 2.5" old-school truck pattern keeps it faithful for collectors and riders alike.

Built as a Limited Edition Re-Issue, this deck uses U.S. hard rock maple pressed by Powell-Peralta’s partner in Mexico, matching the SP0 mellow concave and Shape 265 of the original. The red foil finish pops under sunlight from the Monrovia park to a late-day roll through Claremont—expect small variations in the foil (totally normal and part of the charm). If you hang it, handle the foil carefully; if you skate it, that mellow concave and roomy platform make carving bowls, slashing ditches, and cruising Old Town streets feel right at home.

Few graphics have defined skateboarding like the Ripper. First appearing as a “Bones Sold Here” window sticker, it quickly jumped to tees and boards, becoming Powell-Peralta’s calling card for generations. Founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta, the brand helped shape modern skate culture—engineering-driven boards paired with graphics that told a story. This reissue keeps that lineage alive, from Santa Barbara roots to every curb cut in the San Gabriel Valley.

Notes: Foil may show minor variations; that’s part of the limited finish.
