Penny Complete 22" Skateboard (Thunderstruck) brings that classic Penny silhouette with a bold, high-contrast twist—blacked-out deck paired with vivid orange wheels and muted teal trucks that give it a punch without overdoing it. It’s a setup that feels fast just looking at it, built for quick movement whether you’re cutting through alleyways or cruising stretches of pavement around the SGV.
The 22” plastic deck is molded from Penny’s proprietary high-strength formula, giving it that signature balance of flex and durability. Up top, the textured waffle grip pattern is integrated directly into the deck, offering consistent traction without grip tape. It keeps things clean and functional while still locking your feet in when you’re carving or adjusting your stance. The embossed Penny logo sits subtly in the center, blending into the surface without breaking up the all-black look.
Flip it over and the underside features reinforced channels molded into the deck for added strength without adding weight. The board rolls on 3” A-grade 356 cast aluminum trucks, finished in a muted teal tone with clean Penny branding across the hanger. These trucks are tuned for smooth, responsive turning—perfect for weaving through tighter sidewalks or flowing through open paths without feeling stiff.
The standout comes from the 59mm 83A polyurethane wheels in bright orange. They’re soft, fast, and built to handle rougher terrain—absorbing cracks, bumps, and uneven surfaces whether you're pushing through Monrovia streets or cruising mellow paths near South Pasadena. Combined with ABEC-7 bearings, the ride stays quick, smooth, and consistent with minimal effort.
Lightweight at just over 4 pounds, this setup is easy to carry, stash, or grab on the go. It’s the kind of board that becomes part of your daily routine—something you reach for without thinking when you need to move fast and keep it fun.
Penny Skateboards was founded in 2010 by Ben Mackay in Brisbane, Australia, inspired by the plastic cruisers he rode as a kid. What started as a garage project turned into a global staple, reviving the original ‘70s cruiser feel with modern materials and performance. Named after his sister, Penny, the brand continues to focus on simple, durable boards made for everyday skating.
