Penny Complete 22" Skateboard (Staple Green) keeps it fully monochrome with a deep, earthy green tone that hits somewhere between military utility and clean everyday cruiser. The deck, wheels, and trucks all follow the same Staple Green palette, giving it that unified, no-frills look that feels right at home cruising mellow streets or cutting through tighter city spots around the SGV.

The 22” injection-molded plastic deck is built from Penny’s proprietary formula, designed to flex just enough while staying strong under pressure. Up top, the signature waffle grip pattern is molded directly into the deck, giving you solid traction without the need for grip tape. It’s clean underfoot, easy on shoes, and still grips when you’re carving or adjusting your stance. The subtle embossed Penny logo sits centered in the grid, blending into the deck without breaking the flow of the design.

Flip it over and you’ll see the reinforced structural channels molded into the underside, adding strength while keeping the board lightweight and responsive. The setup rolls on 3” A-grade 356 cast aluminum trucks, finished in matching green with clean Penny branding across the hanger. These trucks are tuned for smooth, surf-style turning—perfect for weaving through neighborhoods, cruising bike paths, or navigating crowded sidewalks without feeling stiff or twitchy.

The wheels carry the same tone with 59mm 83A polyurethane, soft enough to absorb cracks, rough pavement, and those uneven sidewalks you’ll find throughout places like Alhambra, El Monte, or Pasadena. Paired with ABEC-7 bearings, the ride stays fast, quiet, and consistent, whether you’re pushing short distances or just letting it roll.

Everything about this setup is compact and functional—light enough to carry into shops or stash under your arm, but solid enough to ride daily. It’s the kind of board that doesn’t try to stand out loud, but once you’re on it, it speaks for itself.

Penny Skateboards was founded in 2010 by Ben Mackay in Brisbane, Australia, inspired by the plastic cruisers he rode as a kid. What started as a personal project to recreate that feeling turned into a global staple, bringing back the original ‘70s cruiser vibe with modern durability and performance. Named after his sister, Penny, the brand continues to focus on simple, reliable boards made for everyday skating.
