Penny Complete 22" Skateboard (Black Ice) keeps things clean, fast, and low-profile with a sharp contrast build that stands out without trying too hard. The jet black deck sets the tone—deep, matte, and understated—while the translucent icy teal wheels bring just enough color to give it that signature Penny look. It’s a setup that feels just as right cruising through quiet side streets as it does weaving through busier SGV sidewalks.

The 22-inch plastic deck is built from Penny’s proprietary high-strength formula, giving it that perfect mix of flex and durability. Up top, the molded waffle grip pattern provides consistent traction without grip tape, keeping the surface smooth while still locking your feet in. The subtle embossed Penny logo sits centered in the grid, blending into the design without interrupting the clean aesthetic. The compact shape with a functional kicktail gives you control for quick turns, manuals, and navigating tight spots.

Underneath, the board features reinforced structural channels molded into the deck for added strength without extra weight. The setup rides on 3" A-grade 356 cast aluminum trucks, powder-coated in black and stamped with Penny branding, delivering responsive, surfy turns that feel natural whether you're carving through South Pasadena neighborhoods or pushing between blocks in Arcadia. The 59mm 83A polyurethane wheels in that signature translucent teal are soft and fast, built to smooth out rough pavement, cracks, and sidewalk seams across the SGV. Paired with ABEC-7 bearings, the ride stays quick, consistent, and effortless.

The full build is lightweight at just over 4 pounds, making it easy to carry, stash, or grab on the go. It’s the kind of board that lives in your car, by the door, or under your arm—ready for quick missions, coffee runs, or just getting from spot to spot without slowing down.

Penny Skateboards was founded in 2010 by Ben Mackay in Brisbane, Australia, inspired by the plastic cruisers he rode as a kid. What started as a garage project turned into a global staple, bringing back that original ‘70s cruiser feel with modern materials and performance. Named after his sister, Penny, the brand continues to focus on simple, durable, and fun boards built for everyday skating.
