On Hollywood Tee Beastie Boys ABA S/S (Natural) brings Beastie Boys energy into a clean natural-colored short sleeve tee with a simple basketball-style graphic at the center chest. The design features “BEASTIE BOYS” arched over an illustrated hoop, with “ATWATER BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION” wrapped around a red, white, and blue ball sitting above the net. The cream/natural shirt body gives it a softer vintage feel, while the black linework and primary colors keep the graphic easy to read without looking overdone.

The Beastie Boys connection to skateboarding runs deeper than just a music tee. Their songs have shown up across major skate videos and parts, including Mike Carroll skating to “The Biz vs. The Nuge,” “Time For Livin’,” and “Stand Together” in Plan B’s Questionable, T-Funk using “Heart Attack Man” in Baker 4, Simon Bannerot and Tyler Pacheco skating to “Shadrach” in Girl’s Doll, Sebo Walker’s alternate part using “Shadrach” in Lakai’s The Flare, and Oski skating to “Time For Livin’” in Polar’s We Blew It At Some Point. That mix of hip-hop, punk, funk, and skate-video history is why a Beastie Boys piece still feels natural in a skate shop.

On Hollywood brings that music-and-pop-culture lane into a wearable piece that still connects back to skating. Around Monrovia, Pasadena, Arcadia, Duarte, Glendora, Covina, Claremont, and South Pasadena, this tee makes sense for anyone who grew up on skate videos, record-store graphics, basketball references, and clean everyday shirts that do not need to scream to stand out.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
