Independent Tee X Motörhead Warpig Heavyweight S/S (Black) brings two icons together—Indy’s Built to Grind ethos and Motörhead’s snarling Warpig crest—on a tough, everyday skate tee. The front carries a small Warpig hit with “independent” script in classic black-and-white, while the back explodes with a large Warpig emblem wrapped in gothic type that looks straight off a 7-ply deck. Cut in a regular fit from 100% cotton heavyweight jersey (approx. 6 oz), it feels substantial without being stiff, and the soft-hand ink keeps the graphics bold but breathable. If you’ve sessioned anywhere from Arroyo curbs to the El Sereno DIY, this one slots right into that black-tee rotation and still pops in photos.
Independent has backed skateboarding since ’78 with trucks that defined grinding—this tee taps that same lineage. The artwork mirrors the aggressive geometry of an Indy hanger: sharp, purposeful, zero fluff. Motörhead’s mark needs no intro either; Lemmy’s speed-driven riffs helped set the tempo for skateboarding’s fast-and-loose attitude. In countless edits and shop videos over the years, anthems like “Ace of Spades,” “Overkill,” and “Killed by Death” have ripped under enders and slam montages alike—this shirt wears that sound. Printed front and back for visibility under a flannel or on its own; ribbed crewneck, straight hem, and durable cotton that softens after every wash.
