Hook-Ups Deck Hoot-Ups 2 (8.5) carries the unmistakable identity of Hook-Ups, the brand founded by legendary skateboarder Jeremy Klein. Known for blending skateboarding with bold anime-inspired artwork since the early ‘90s, Klein carved out a lane that still stands apart today. The Hoot-Ups 2 graphic stays true to that legacy with a clean, vibrant sky-blue veneer base and a full-bottom character illustration that instantly commands attention.

At the top of the deck, the classic orange “Hook-Ups” logo sits boldly with “Since 1994” printed beneath it, nodding to decades of skate history. The central artwork features a stylized anime character seated casually on a metallic keg, rendered with crisp linework and saturated color. She wears a cropped white Hook-Ups top with orange lettering, orange shorts, white knee-high socks, and matching orange shoes. Her brown hair is detailed with highlights, and her bright green eyes pop against the blue background. The metallic keg beneath her adds dimension through shading and reflective details, giving the graphic depth without clutter.

The 8.5" width offers a stable, versatile platform suited for street or park. It’s a comfortable size for cruising through Temple City, locking into ledges in Alhambra, or taking smooth lines at parks around the foothills. Balanced and dependable, this shape feels right underfoot whether you’re setting it up fresh or hanging it as a wall piece.

Jeremy Klein’s influence on skateboarding runs deep — from World Industries days to Hook-Ups, his graphics helped define an era where skate brands weren’t afraid to be bold and a little different. The Hoot-Ups 2 keeps that same spirit alive: playful, detailed, and unapologetically distinct.
