Hockey Tee Sounds Of Spring S/S (Black) delivers that signature Hockey mix of chaos and restraint, built on a clean black 100% cotton tee that feels solid, breathable, and ready for daily wear. The fit keeps it classic—easy through the body with enough structure to hold its shape whether you’re skating or just posted up.

The front graphic is where everything comes alive. A rectangular photo insert sits centered on the chest, showing a guitarist mid-play, partially obscured and grainy like a still pulled from an old tape. Above it, flames erupt and stretch upward in vivid oranges and yellows, twisting into abstract shapes that feel almost alive. The fire spills beyond the frame, breaking the boundaries of the image, while the small HOCKEY logo sits embedded within the photo—subtle but intentional. The contrast between the dark background and the bright flame creates that heavy visual tension Hockey is known for—controlled chaos without overcomplication.

This piece comes out of Hockey Skateboards, led by Jason Dill and Anthony Van Engelen, a brand built on raw imagery, unpredictable visuals, and a refusal to follow the polished direction of mainstream skate graphics. Everything feels a little off in the best way—like it wasn’t meant to be perfect.

The black tee keeps it versatile, but the graphic carries enough weight to stand on its own. It’s the kind of shirt that fits right into the SGV—something you throw on heading out of Monrovia, holding up through a full day skating spots in Alhambra or Pasadena, and still feeling right when the night session rolls around.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
