Hélas was founded in 2011 by Lucas Puig, Clément Brunel, and Stephen Khou—European skate lifers who saw a lane for refined, 90s-inspired gear built to skate. The name means “alas,” a nod to rainy days, and the umbrella logo became their banner. Starting with five-panel caps, they grew into cut-and-sew pieces known for quality materials, a polished silhouette, and deep roots in the Euro scene. This hoodie carries that DNA—minimal where it counts, playful where it’s fun.
