Fucking Awesome Deck Jason Dill Levitation (8.18) captures Jason Dill’s unmistakable eye for raw imagery and stripped-down presentation, built on FA’s original Shape #1 for sharp control and responsive pop. Measuring 8.18" x 31.73" with a 14" wheelbase, this shape leans slightly narrower for quicker flick and tighter technical precision while still holding stability for speed. Shape #1 features a steeper concave and the signature “shovel” style nose, giving the board a locked-in feel that rewards confident foot placement.

The top veneer is finished in a vivid green stain with bold, high-contrast woodgrain running nose to tail. Near the front truck holes sits the small FA world stamp, subtle and centered. Mid-deck features Dill’s flowing black signature graphic with “Fucking Awesome” printed beneath in white, keeping the top clean and understated. The green stain adds character without distracting from grip placement, making it functional and visually sharp at the same time.

The bottom graphic is where the Levitation concept comes alive. A photographic-style image spans the center panel: Dill appears mid-air in a bedroom setting, hovering above a bare mattress on a hardwood floor. A crucifix hangs on the wall in the background, grounding the scene in a stark, almost documentary-like realism. The top and bottom of the deck are framed with metallic silver banding that gives the board a reflective, industrial edge, contrasting with the intimate interior scene. The composition feels spontaneous yet deliberate—very much aligned with FA’s collage-driven, art-forward aesthetic.

Jason Dill (born November 21, 1976) is one of skateboarding’s most influential figures—professional skater, artist, and co-founder of Fucking Awesome. Rising from Huntington Beach, California, Dill made early waves with 101 Skateboards under Natas Kaupas before cementing his legacy with Alien Workshop. His rebellious style and technical street ability in classic videos like “Snuff” helped define 90s street skating. Later, after moving to New York City, Dill merged skateboarding with art and fashion, shaping FA into a brand that blends raw street culture with high-end visual sensibility. His long-standing creative partnership with Adidas and continued influence across generations solidify his impact on modern skateboarding.

The 8.18 width makes this deck especially suited for technical street lines, quick rotations, and precise ledge work while still holding up under speed. It’s a board that feels agile underfoot—perfect for skaters who want responsiveness without sacrificing stability. Whether navigating rougher pavement or filming in tight urban spots, Shape #1’s steeper concave keeps everything controlled.

The Levitation graphic carries tension and quiet intensity—serious but not theatrical. It’s the kind of deck that feels right under someone who appreciates skateboarding as both function and expression.
