Dickies Shorts J76 13" Denim Utility (Mid Wash) bring that no-nonsense workwear DNA into a clean, skate-ready silhouette that feels right at home from pushing through the streets of Alhambra to chilling curbside in Pasadena. Built from durable mid-wash denim, these shorts have that broken-in look without sacrificing structure—soft enough for all-day wear, tough enough to handle grip tape, slams, and everything in between.

Up front, you’ve got a classic 5-pocket layout with reinforced stitching, copper rivets, and a sturdy metal button closure that holds it all together. The zipper fly sits clean, while the waistband is finished with belt loops that can handle a proper cinch when needed. The 13" length hits right at that sweet spot—long enough for coverage, short enough to stay out of the way when you’re moving.

Flip them around and the utility really shows. Dual oversized back pockets are reinforced for durability, with a subtle Dickies woven label hit on the right pocket—clean, properly scaled, and exactly where it should be. On the side, you’ve got a functional utility pocket setup—perfect for tools, phone, or whatever you’re carrying through the day. The stitching throughout is consistent and heavy-duty, built the way Dickies has been doing it since 1922, when C.N. Williamson and E.E. “Colonel” Dickie started crafting dependable workwear in Texas.

The mid-wash denim gives off a slightly faded, lived-in tone that pairs easily with anything—tees, flannels, or work shirts—making these just as wearable cruising through Covina as they are posted up outside the shop.
