Deathwish Deck Jake Hayes Ascension (8.6) brings a surreal, high-impact Deathwish graphic to a wider street shape made for skaters who like extra board under their feet. The bottom artwork shows a winged figure floating upward against a bright blue sky, white clouds, and soft pink lower fade, with “HAYES” printed cleanly on the left side. A heavy chain hangs from the figure’s ankle and drops into a red spiked ball below, giving the graphic a dramatic push-pull feeling between freedom and weight. The colors are sharp and cinematic: sky blue, white wings, metallic tones, pink cloud haze, black chain detail, and a deep red mace at the bottom.

Built as Jake Hayes’ pro model, this deck measures 8.6" wide by 32" long with a 14.5" wheelbase, giving it a stable feel for bigger landings, faster street skating, transition, and riders who prefer a little more platform than a standard 8.25 or 8.38. The popsicle shape keeps it familiar, while the DW mellow concave gives it a more comfortable foot feel without being overly aggressive. Construction is traditional 7-ply 100% hard rock Canadian maple, made for everyday skating with a reliable snap and classic wood-board response.

Deathwish Skateboards comes from the Baker Boys family and was founded by Jim Greco and Erik Ellington, two skaters deeply tied to raw street skating, heavy video parts, and a darker visual identity. The Ascension graphic, with artwork by BOW3RY, fits that world well—clean enough to stand out on the wall, but still tough enough to grip, set up, and skate through Monrovia, Pasadena, Arcadia, Duarte, Glendora, Covina, Claremont, and South Pasadena.
