Royal Trucks

Royal Trucks was founded in 1999 in Torrance, California by pro skateboarders Guy Mariano and Rudy Johnson, later shaped creatively by Mike Carroll under the Crailtap umbrella and Girl Distribution Company. Built with a focus on precision street skating, Royal introduced concepts like “Sacred Geometry” for optimized turning response, Ultra Lights for reduced weight, and Fusion Cast technology to improve strength without adding bulk. The brand has long leaned into technical performance—quick on flip tricks, stable on ledges, and consistent under pressure—while keeping the design clean and minimal.
The San Gabriel Valley connects with Royal because they’re tuned for real street use. Around here, sessions mean long ledges in Pasadena, schoolyard flatground, and rough asphalt that demands control. Lightweight matters, but so does durability. Royal hits that balance—responsive without feeling flimsy, simple without cutting corners. In the SGV, that kind of performance earns its place in a setup.
