April Tee AP Kid S/S (Brown) keeps things minimal at first glance, but the details hit once you lock in. The body comes in a rich brown garment-dyed cotton, giving it that worn-in tone that already feels broken-in without losing structure. Front and center is a small but sharp graphic—an anime-style “AP Kid” character with bright blue hair, devil horns, and a mischievous stance, finished with a subtle shadow hit beneath. The colors pop hard against the brown base, creating that contrast that pulls you in without needing a full chest print.

The tee itself is built on a 7.5 oz heavyweight blank, giving it that solid, slightly boxy feel that holds up whether you’re skating or just wearing it day to day. It’s been enzyme washed and garment dyed, so it’s soft right away but still durable. The print is clean and centered, not oversized, which makes it easy to wear with anything—pants, shorts, whatever rotation you’ve got going. Printed in the USA on a 100% cotton body made in China, it checks all the boxes for quality and comfort.

April Skateboards, led by Shane O’Neill, has always leaned into precision and clean aesthetics, but pieces like this show the brand’s playful side. The “AP Kid” graphic brings in that animated, slightly rebellious energy without going over the top—something that fits right in with how skating actually feels.

Out here in the SGV, this one sits right in the mix. It’s the kind of tee you’ll see rolling through spots in Pasadena, posted up in Arcadia, or catching clips around Monrovia—lowkey, but if you know, you know. It’s not trying to be loud, but it still carries personality.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
