The Zero Deck David Reyes Realtree Bear (8.25) brings together Zero Skateboards' uncompromising street skating heritage and Realtree Outdoors' unmistakable camouflage aesthetic in a signature pro model for David Reyes. Part of Zero's third officially licensed collaboration with Realtree, this deck features an aggressive, photorealistic bear graphic set against a rugged woodland camouflage background. With its detailed wildlife artwork, Resin-7 construction, and versatile 8.25-inch shape, the board combines Zero's proven performance with one of the most visually striking graphics in the collection.

The bottom graphic features a massive, snarling black bear emerging from a realistic woodland environment. The bear's head dominates the center of the board, with thick black and charcoal fur accented by subtle blue-gray highlights that emphasize its rugged texture. Its jaws are stretched wide open, exposing long, sharply pointed white canine teeth, smaller teeth, a dark pink tongue, and the intricate details inside its mouth. The bear's wet, black nose and intense eyes add to its threatening expression, while a powerful front paw reaches forward beneath its head, displaying a set of long, curved black claws. Behind the animal, the authentic Realtree camouflage artwork incorporates weathered tree bark, fallen branches, scattered leaves, pine needles, and natural earth tones in shades of brown, gray, tan, and muted green. The artwork stretches from nose to tail, creating the appearance of a wild bear breaking through the forest floor. With no oversized branding interrupting the image, the detailed illustration becomes the centerpiece of the entire deck.

Built for serious street skating, the David Reyes Realtree Bear measures 8.25 inches wide by 31.9 inches long, with a 14.25-inch wheelbase, 7.125-inch nose, and 6.5-inch tail. Its traditional popsicle shape and medium concave provide a balanced combination of board control, stability, and responsiveness. The 8.25-inch width is particularly versatile for technical flip tricks, ledges, handrails, gaps, and skatepark sessions, while the slightly shorter wheelbase offers a quick, responsive feel for street skating. Constructed using Resin-7 technology, the deck features seven plies of North American maple bonded with epoxy resin and individually pressed to maintain consistent pop, strength, and concave. A laser-engraved top adds another detail to the construction, while assorted top veneer colors are selected at random, making the appearance of each board slightly different.

The deck represents David Reyes, a professional street skateboarder whose powerful, relentless approach to skating has earned him a respected place in the industry. Born in Yonkers, New York, Reyes grew up in Denver, Colorado, where skateboarding became an important outlet during a difficult childhood. He developed his skills on the rough streets, concrete obstacles, and industrial terrain of North Denver, eventually becoming part of the local scene surrounding 303 Boards, one of Colorado's most respected independent skate shops. That connection to grassroots skateboarding has remained central to his career, shaping his appreciation for local crews, independent shops, and the skateboard community.

Reyes built his reputation through years of technically demanding, high-impact street skating, riding for companies including Foundation, Mystery, and Thank You Skateboards before joining Zero. Known for what he describes as his "carcass tossing" approach, he combines fearless commitment on massive handrails and gaps with surprisingly precise technical tricks. One of his most memorable battles involved repeated trips to San Francisco's legendary Clipper Hubba, where he endured hundreds of attempts before landing an exceptionally difficult 360 flip noseblunt slide. His persistence and willingness to push through punishing slams have become defining characteristics of his skating.

His career includes standout video parts for Thank You Skate Co., the Colorado-based Gold Star project, and his 2026 Zero debut part, Wild Heart. The latter reinforced why his style fits naturally alongside Zero's history of heavy street skating. Reyes officially joined Zero's professional ranks when founder Jamie Thomas surprised him in Denver on his birthday, presenting him with his first signature boards for the company. His continued involvement with 303 Boards and the Colorado skate scene also reflects a dedication to supporting the communities that helped him build his career.

Zero Skateboards was founded in 1996 by legendary professional skateboarder Jamie Thomas, widely known as "The Chief." Originally established as an apparel company before expanding into skateboard decks, Zero became one of the defining brands of late-1990s and early-2000s street skateboarding. Through groundbreaking videos such as Thrill of It All, Misled Youth, Dying to Live, and New Blood, the company helped establish a generation of skateboarders who pushed the boundaries of what was possible on handrails, stairs, gaps, and unforgiving street terrain. Zero's recognizable skull imagery, aggressive graphics, and commitment to powerful skating have made it a longstanding favorite among skateboarders who appreciate the harder side of the culture.

The collaboration with Realtree Outdoors introduces a different visual direction while remaining consistent with Zero's identity. Realtree has built its reputation around developing realistic camouflage designs inspired by natural surroundings, including forests, vegetation, wildlife, and rugged outdoor environments. By incorporating these patterns into signature pro models, Zero connects its established street skating aesthetic with wildlife imagery that feels both aggressive and authentic. The snarling bear graphic is especially appropriate for Reyes, whose powerful approach to skateboarding reflects the same intensity and unpredictability portrayed in the artwork.

For skateboarders throughout the San Gabriel Valley, the David Reyes Realtree Bear offers a well-rounded 8.25-inch setup suitable for everything from technical street sessions around Pasadena and Alhambra to ledges and skatepark terrain in Monrovia, Arcadia, Glendora, and Claremont. Its medium concave, 14.25-inch wheelbase, and Resin-7 construction make it a practical everyday deck, while the licensed Realtree artwork gives it a distinctive appearance for longtime Zero supporters and skateboard collectors alike.
