Spitfire Hat Bighead Thorn A Frame Snapback (Black) strips things down and then hits you with detail where it counts. Built on a classic A-frame silhouette, the structured black crown holds a sharp, slightly higher profile up front, giving the graphic room to breathe. Centered across the front panel is a clean but aggressive take on the Spitfire Bighead, reworked into a thorned, branching design—white embroidery stretching outward like cracked veins or barbed limbs, with that signature grin tucked right in the middle. It’s subtle from a distance, but up close it’s all texture, linework, and attitude.
The curved brim keeps it wearable right out the gate—no break-in needed—and the all-black build makes it easy to pair with whatever you’ve got in rotation. Stitching is tight and consistent throughout, with reinforced eyelets up top for breathability. Around back, the adjustable snap closure dials in the fit, while a small woven Spitfire tag sits off to the side, keeping branding minimal but intentional.
Spitfire, part of Deluxe Distribution out of San Francisco, has been a backbone of skateboarding since the late ‘80s. Known for their wheels and unmistakable graphics, the Bighead logo has evolved over the years without ever losing its bite—this thorn variation feels like a nod to that legacy while still pushing something fresh.
This one fits just as naturally catching clips in Temple City, cruising through Baldwin Park, cutting through Hacienda Heights, or posted up near a schoolyard in Rosemead—low profile, but still saying something if you know what you’re looking at.
