Lovesick Tee Coming Up Roses S/S (Black)
A crisp black premium tee carrying a grainy black-and-white photograph of Elliott Smith—shades on, acoustic in hand—shot by artist/filmmaker Ross Harris. The image sits centered across the chest with a tiny {Love•sick} mark tucked in the corner, keeping the focus on the portrait. Printed on a premium black tee with a soft hand feel, it’s the kind of shirt that breaks in quick and holds up—ribbed collar, double-needle hems, and an easy everyday fit. Clean enough for a coffee run on Myrtle in Monrovia, low-key enough to disappear under a flannel on an evening cruise down Foothill.
Lovesick is the independent project led by Aleks Lewandowski, known for blending music, collage, and skate history into honest, cinematic graphics. The Elliott photo ties back to the quiet intensity that shaped a lot of skate video soundtracks—intimate, rough-around-the-edges, and timeless. Smith’s Portland-to-LA story, finger-picked melodies, and film-grain mystique have long resonated with skaters; Harris—who documented him closely—captures that exact mood that still hits before a solo mission or after a session.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
