Fucking Awesome Deck Team Store Collage Gradient (8.25) brings layered visual storytelling to a classic, functional shape. Built on FA’s Shape 2, this 8.25" x 31.79" deck features a 14.12" wheelbase and a traditional popsicle outline with a less steep concave and more rounded nose and tail. The result is a board that feels balanced and predictable underfoot—responsive on flick, comfortable on long pushes, and smooth through transition without feeling overly aggressive.
The background is a rich gradient wash blending teal, green, and subtle blue tones, fading and pooling organically through the veneer like a dyed watercolor effect. Running vertically down the center is a stacked collage of surreal, almost dreamlike imagery. At the top, a soft portrait floats above a horizontal image panel, followed by a classical-style scene of figures gathered around a table, flanked by smaller illustrated characters on either side. Beneath that, another panel shows dynamic action imagery contrasted against cupped hands cradling delicate figures—an intentional mix of fragility and chaos. The bold word “WHY” sits just below, grounding the composition in FA’s signature questioning tone. Toward the tail, additional symbolic imagery—including a heart motif and layered graphic details—completes the vertical narrative. The entire layout feels curated rather than random, with each image framed and aligned cleanly down the centerline.
At 8.25", this deck hits that sweet spot many skaters in the San Gabriel Valley gravitate toward—nimble enough for technical ledge work but stable enough for stair sets and transition. The Shape 2 mellow concave gives you control without over-sensitivity, making it ideal for mixed terrain sessions whether you’re skating the smooth concrete in Pasadena, pushing through West Covina streets, or catching evening park laps closer to El Monte. It’s versatile, consistent, and built to handle everyday skating without compromise.
The Store Collage Gradient graphic captures that layered FA identity—art-forward, slightly confrontational, but always grounded in skateboarding. It looks just as at home leaned against a brick bank in Alhambra as it does set up and rolling fast through a bowl line. Clean shape, refined sizing, and a graphic that invites a second look without shouting.
