Wknd Deck Tom Karangelov Not Today WB (8.25) blends sharp humor with raw street function, exactly how Tom K would want it. Built on WKND’s 8.25” WB (Short Wheelbase) shape, this board comes pressed 100% wood and made in Mexico by BBS, delivering that proven snap, consistency, and long-lasting pop that serious skaters expect.

The top veneer comes in a clean pink stain with subtle woodgrain showing through, finished with a simple WKND logo hit centered between the truck holes. Flip it over and the personality hits hard—neon green background with hand-drawn artwork by Sympathy Dropout. “Tom Karangelov” is scrawled across the top in bold orange, loose marker-style lettering, while the graphic itself is a lion laying down, relaxed, with one paw extended and flipping the middle finger. That detail completely shifts the tone of the board — it’s not awkward or mysterious, it’s sarcastic, defiant, and very Tom K.

The mane frames the lion’s head with loose sketch lines, the body stretches casually along the board’s vertical axis, and the extended paw delivers the punchline. The shadow running down the left side adds depth and contrast, giving it that hand-drawn, zine-style WKND feel. The neon green background makes the illustration pop hard, especially against the orange “Tom Karangelov” lettering up top.

That lion flipping the bird fits perfectly with the “Not Today” title — laid back but unapologetic. It’s humor with attitude, which lines up way better with WKND’s tone and Tom’s personality.

. “WKND” sits near the tail in matching orange script, tying the whole aesthetic together.

From the size chart, the 8.25” WB (Short Wheelbase) shape is designed for quicker response and tighter turning. Compared to a standard popsicle 8.25, the WB version slightly shortens the wheelbase, giving it a more nimble feel—perfect for fast technical skating, quick flicks, and navigating tight setups like ledges in Alhambra, schoolyards in Arcadia, or manual pads around West Covina. The 8.25 width keeps it versatile: stable enough for rails and stair sets, but still quick underfoot. Medium concave offers balanced control—enough pocket for locking into tricks without feeling overly steep.

Tom Karangelov, often known simply as Tom K, brings a distinct energy to skateboarding. Born in Serbia to a Serbian mother and Macedonian father, he moved to the United States as a child and grew up in Santa Ana, later identifying closely with the Huntington Beach scene. His skating is defined by creative spot selection, unconventional lines, and technical control—never just hitting the obvious feature, but finding something weird and making it work. That “Not Today” attitude reflects the humor and dry wit that runs through WKND’s identity.
