Toy Machine Deck Geoff Rowley Slayer (8.5) merges skateboarding legend status with unapologetic Toy Machine chaos. Built on a modern 8.50" x 32.00" shape with a 14.25" wheelbase, this board carries Geoff Rowley’s name with the kind of graphic intensity that matches his all-or-nothing approach to skating.
The bottom graphic is raw and confrontational in classic Ed Templeton style. Set against a natural wood veneer, the artwork features a distorted, monstrous character mid-rampage, gripping a blood-stained blade while surrounded by exaggerated red splashes across the deck. Disembodied limbs and warped figures float around the scene, creating a chaotic, surreal composition that feels aggressive but unmistakably Toy Machine. “Rowley” is arched in bold red lettering near the nose, while “Toy Machine” is stamped at the tail in matching red script, tying the entire piece together. The exposed natural veneer background lets the red and off-white illustration hit harder, giving it depth without overwhelming the eye. Ships random color top & bottom plys.
The dimensions are dialed for real street skating. At 8.5 wide, you get the stability needed for heavy rails, stair sets, and high-speed approaches. The 7.00" nose and 6.88" tail keep the board balanced with a slightly quick snap off the tail. The 14.25" wheelbase provides control at speed while remaining responsive in tight setups. It’s a versatile size that works in park, street, and everything in between.
Geoff Rowley’s legacy needs no exaggeration. Born in Liverpool and moving to California in the mid-’90s, he helped redefine high-risk street skating and earned Thrasher’s Skater of the Year in 2000. From his era-defining parts in Sorry and Extremely Sorry to pioneering the return of vulcanized skate shoes with Vans, Rowley built his reputation on commitment and resilience. Now riding for Toy Machine, this deck feels like a collision between legacy and controlled chaos.
An 8.5 like this makes sense around the SGV. Whether you’re charging a rail in El Monte, hitting gaps in Pasadena, or stacking clips in West Covina, this width gives you the confidence to go full speed without hesitation. It’s a board built for impact—fitting for a skater who built a career on it.
