Real Deck Ishod Wair Mariposa Redux Twin Tail (8.5) delivers a darker, heavier presence while keeping the same refined symmetry that defines Ishod’s skating. The deep, moody top stain sets a rich backdrop for the mirrored mariposa butterflies placed perfectly at the nose and tail, rendered in layered teal, ice blue, and subtle warm accents that glow against the dark field. The artwork feels balanced and intentional from every angle, reinforcing the twin-tail layout and giving the board a clean, composed look whether it’s set up regular or switch. Minimal center branding keeps the focus on the shape and graphic without unnecessary noise.
Ishod Wair hails from New Jersey, where raw East Coast street skating shaped his smooth control, technical precision, and ability to skate anything put in front of him. Over the years, he’s become one of the most respected skaters of his generation—known for making hard skating look effortless. That approach translates seamlessly to the SGV, whether you’re cruising longer street runs through Pasadena, locking into ledges in El Monte, or skating familiar Monrovia terrain where control and consistency matter most.
Built using REAL R1 Construction with hard rock sugar maple, this deck offers dependable pop, strength, and long-lasting response. The twin tail shape provides identical nose and tail dimensions, making switch tricks feel natural and balanced. With an 8.5" width, 32.2" length, and 14.5" wheelbase, this size leans slightly more stable and powerful while still staying responsive. Matching 6.72" nose and tail lengths keep everything symmetrical, while the traditional 7-ply construction and assorted top stain ensure durability with subtle variation from deck to deck.
