A true slice of skateboard history, the OG Ray Rodriguez Skull & Sword 11 comes on a rich brown stain that shows the maple grain from nose to tail. The bottom graphic—VCJ’s 1979 illustration of a skull pierced by a sword and encircled in thorns—prints sharp and bold, framed by the classic pig-inspired outline. Up top, the stained veneer stays mostly clean for easy grip layout, with the red Powell dragon seal set at center. At 10.0" wide and 30" long with a 16" wheelbase, SP3 concave, and a squared tail (6.63") with a compact 3.125" nose, this reissue rides stable in bowls, pumps speed on banks, and cruises local streets with old-school authority. The LONG 4 (2.5") old-school truck hole pattern keeps it period-correct for your favorite Indy 159s or reissue hardware.

Born in Santa Barbara, Powell-Peralta defined the look and feel of ‘80s skateboarding—combining U.S. hard rock maple, exacting layups, and iconic art direction from George Powell and Vernon Courtlandt Johnson. This re-issue honors that legacy: original shape 166, faithfully screened graphics, and construction pressed in Mexico to Powell specs for long-lasting pop and warp resistance—each stained veneer uniquely its own.
