The On Hollywood Black Flag Tee Everything Went Black S/S (Black) is a bold nod to Southern California’s most uncompromising punk legends. Featuring the stark, iconic Raymond Pettibon-designed shears artwork from Everything Went Black, this shirt captures that raw early energy of pre-Rollins Black Flag, when Greg Ginn’s guitar and every vocal frontman from Keith Morris to Dez Cadena was throwing haymakers straight from Hermosa Beach basements. The graphic hits hard in white ink on a soft black cotton tee, built with a relaxed fit for skating, moshing, or pacing around in a garage with a broken PA and too much caffeine.

Before they were printing logos on walls across the globe, Black Flag were soundtracking anti-authority missions through every alley and parking structure from L.A. to San Pedro. This shirt honors Everything Went Black—a compilation of early-era demos and live recordings that laid the foundation for hardcore as we know it. The image of shears clutched in disembodied fists is just as intense as the record itself: cutting, confrontational, and unmistakably SST.

Skateboarding and Black Flag have always been kindred spirits—both chaotic, loud, and rooted in the streets. Tracks like “My War,” “TV Party,” “Depression,” and “Wasted” have shredded their way through legendary skate edits like Zero’s “Misled Youth”, Santa Cruz’s “Streets on Fire,” and H-Street’s “Lick.” Jim Greco, Chris Senn, and Ben Raybourn are just a few of the heads who’ve laced clips to Flag. From Thrasher’s Double Rock sessions to Foundation’s “Nervous Breakdown”, Black Flag’s aggressive tempo has become a rite of passage for skaters looking to set fire to the screen. Whether it’s Kyle Yanagimoto’s raw style to “Wound Up” or Daniel “Peewee” Monkress flying in on “Revenge,” Black Flag’s sound remains the rallying cry of resistance from curb to coping.
