Hook-Ups Deck Link (8.25) delivers a bold, anime-inspired reinterpretation of a legendary fantasy archetype, blending classic video game iconography with the unmistakable Hook-Ups aesthetic that helped define late ‘90s and early 2000s skate graphics. Set against a metallic gold-toned background, the deck features a glowing triangular crest at the top—an unmistakable nod to old-school adventure lore—paired with stylized Japanese text beneath it that reinforces the manga influence Jeremy Klein built the brand on.

Front and center is a reimagined elf-like heroine dressed in green, complete with hood, pointed ears, bow and arrows slung over her shoulder, and a short blade in hand. The detailing is sharp and saturated—bright yellow hair, cool blue eyes, vibrant green fabric, and glossy highlights throughout. The character is framed vertically for maximum visual impact, with clean linework and polished shading that make the artwork pop whether it’s hanging on a wall or gripping through a session. The metallic background adds depth, catching light in a way that gives the entire board a premium finish.

At 8.25” x 31.75”, this size sits right in the modern all-around sweet spot—stable enough for ledge work and transition, responsive enough for technical street skating. It’s the kind of shape that feels right whether you’re pushing through the streets of Arcadia, skating curbs in El Monte, or locking into a rail near Pasadena. The traditional popsicle profile offers familiar control and consistent pop, built for daily skating but striking enough to double as a collectible for fans of anime and gaming culture.

Hook-Ups has always existed at the intersection of skateboarding and Japanese animation influence, long before that crossover became mainstream. The Link graphic keeps that energy alive—bold, unapologetic, and instantly recognizable. It’s a reminder that skate graphics don’t have to be subtle to be iconic.
